EDUCATION
Every Child Deserves a Chance To Learn.
EDUCATION AND CHILD SPONSORSHIP
Education is one of the central pillars of MEUON’S work and a practical expression of our commitment to reaching vulnerable children and building stronger communities.
Through EBENEZER NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, MEUON works to provide children with access to education and an opportunity to learn, grow and develop their potential, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Recognising that poverty can prevent children from attending school or completing their education, MEUON works with local and international partners to facilitate educational sponsorship for children whose families face financial hardship
These partnerships help create opportunities for children who might otherwise struggle to access or continue their education.
Our school based approach recognises that supporting a child means more than paying shool fees. Children also need a safe and supportive learning environment, educational materials, appropriate care and encouragement to develop academically, socially and personally.
For MEUON, every child supported represents more than an individual success. It’s an investment in a family, community and the future of the Mount Elgon region.
Through EBENEZER NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, we aim to:
Expand access to education for children from vulnerable and low - income households.
Work with families and partners to strengthen children's educational opportunities.
Build a foundation for children to become confident, responsible and productive members of society.
Facilitate sponsorship opportunities through local and international partnerships.
Reduce financial barriers that prevent children from enrolling in or remaining at school.
