Investing in children’s futures through education.

NURTURING CHILDREN FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Education is one of the central pillars of MEUON’S work and a practical expression of our commitment to reaching vulnerable children and building stronger communities.

Recognising that poverty can prevent children from attending school or completing their education,  MEUON works with local and international partners to facilitate educational sponsorship for children whose families face financial hardship. These  partnerships help create opportunities for children who might otherwise struggle to access or continue their education.

Our school based approach recognises that supporting a child means more than paying shool fees.  Children also need a safe and supportive learning environment, educational materials, appropriate care and encouragement to develop academically, socially and personally.

EBENEZER NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL is central to MEUON’s work in education and child development. The school provides an opportunity for MEUON to connect educational support with the needs of vulnerable children and their families.

Through local and international partnerships, MEUON facilitates educational sponsorship and support for learners who might otherwise face barriers to schooling. Our current figures include:

  • 280 learners enrolled at the
  • 55 sponsored learners in the current sponsorship

Our objective is to strengthen these partnerships and mobilise additional support so that more vulnerable children can access and continue their education.
